TEKsystems is hiring Entry-Level Cable Technicians to support a high-visibility Data Center Fitout. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in structured cabling and infrastructure deployment while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Technicians will assist with structured cabling, cable labeling, uplink installation, and server/switch support. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Install and label Cat6 and structured cabling

+ Support server and switch deployment

+ Assist with power-up and validation testing

+ Follow documentation and labeling best practices

+ Maintain safety standards and follow structured processes

+ Work collaboratively with team members and site leads

Top Skills Needed:

+ Cable installation and structured cabling

+ Labeling and documentation

+ Familiarity with server/switch setup

+ Basic understanding of low voltage systems

+ OSHA safety awareness

Qualifications:

+ Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

+ Strong attention to detail and punctuality

+ Must bring basic tools: drill, screwdrivers, steel-toed boots

+ Experience with Aconex or CxAlloy is a plus

+ Physical stamina to work on your feet and handle equipment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Ashburn, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
