    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Leadership & Operations

    + Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing global HR Shared Services team focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    + Oversee the daily operation of the HR Service Center, including case management, tiered issue resolution, knowledge base maintenance, and SLA performance.

    + Partner with HR COEs and IT to align technology, processes, and integrations across HR, Payroll, training and vendor systems.

    + Serve as escalation point for complex HR issues requiring nuanced judgment, confidentiality, and collaboration across HR, Legal, and leadership teams.

    + Ensure alignment between HR operations, compliance, and employee experience initiatives in support of Greene Tweed’s business goals.

    Employee Relations & Compliance

    + Conduct and oversee internal investigations in partnership with Legal and HR leadership, ensuring fairness, objectivity, and timely resolution.

    + Make recommendations ranging from company policies and procedures to individual investigations.

    + Provide coaching and guidance to managers, HR business partners, and employees regarding performance, conduct, and policy matters.

    + Identify and monitor regulatory requirements impacting HR programs and processes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

    + Develop and deliver training programs on harassment, discrimination, ethics, and workplace standards.

    + Partner with HR leadership and Legal to manage compliance reporting, audits, and responses to external agencies.

    + Support labor relations strategies, collective bargaining preparations, and dispute resolution efforts as needed.

    Program & Project Management

    + Lead HR Shared Services projects and enterprise-wide HR initiatives, ensuring timely execution, risk mitigation, and measurable outcomes.

    + Serve as a strategic partner and “quarterback” in the HR roadmap development, aligning Shared Services priorities to enterprise HR programs (onboarding, engagement, compliance, and retention).

    + Drive operational excellence through spearheading a series of Quarterly Business Reviews to monitor progress of our HR Roadmap; provide regular (monthly) updates to HR Leadership team.

    + Coordinate governance activities across HR—including policy reviews, employee committees (ERGs), and compliance programs—to ensure consistency and collaboration.

    + Partner with Legal to ensure HR practices support a safe, compliant, and inclusive workplace.

    Analytics & Continuous Improvement

    + Analyze HR service and ER metrics to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.

    + Develop and deliver executive-ready dashboards and presentations summarizing key insights, risks, and outcomes.

    + Leverage automation and technology (e.g., Workday, Ivanti) to enhance service delivery and compliance tracking.

    Collaboration & Global Partnership

    + Partner across global HR, Legal, and business functions to deliver integrated, proactive HR solutions across regions.

    + Build strong relationships across manufacturing and corporate environments to ensure alignment between HR programs and operational priorities.

    + Actively participate as part of the extended HR Leadership Team, contributing to organizational strategy, HR policy development, and driving the delivery of proactive HR solutions.

    Education & Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree or HR certification (SPHR/SHRM-SCP) preferred.

    + 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR operations, shared services, employee relations, or compliance; 5-7 years of experience with complex employee relations & investigations.

    + Strong working knowledge of employment law, investigations, HRIS (Workday or similar), and ticketing platforms (ServiceNow, Ivanti, Zendesk).

    + Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.

    + Thorough understanding of negotiation techniques, dispute resolution and demonstrated ability to remain tactful, calm, and objective in controversial and/or confrontational situations.

    + Demonstrated success leading HR programs, projects and portfolios with cross-functional impact.

    + Proven ability to lead change, communicate effectively at all levels, and influence outcomes through data and storytelling.

    + Customer-service oriented mindset with exceptional communication, problem-solving, and judgment; ability to influence and coach at all organizational levels.

    + Manufacturing industry experience and union/labor relations familiarity preferred.
