Our **Core Tax Services (https://www.cbh.com/services/tax/)** team is seeking a **Tax Manager** to support our **Reading, PA** office on a hybrid schedule (average 2-3 days/week in office).

The successful candidate will manage the client’s tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, and recognize tax planning opportunities. Candidates should be accustomed to working as the main point of contact with the client and will be comfortable in managing workflows, deadlines, deliverables, and client communications. This role will also be responsible for training and developing less experienced professional staff.

As a Manager, you will:

+ Manage multiple engagements and provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance recommendations to clients

+ Prepare and review complex tax returns for HNW Individuals, C-corps, S-corps, Partnerships, Estates, Trusts, and NFP's

+ Manage team members and review work products for accuracy, completeness, budgets, etc.

+ Work closely with internal managers and partners to maintain and grow client relationships

+ Mentor and coach various levels of tax staff

+ Resolve technical tax issues; respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities

+ Ensure client deliverables are met within expectations and set deadlines

+ Introduce additional firm services based on identified client needs

What you bring to the role:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

+ Active CPA License

+ 5+ years of current or recent public accounting tax experience

+ Demonstrated knowledge of IRS and other tax authority regulations and standards

+ Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks on a timely basis

+ Adept at meeting challenging client requirements and deadlines

+ Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills as well as employee management skills

+ Detail focused and driven to achieve high standards

+ Proficient in utilizing tax software and overall computer skills
