    Now Hiring: Special Education Paraprofessionals – Norfolk and Bristol County MA

     

    Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of students with special needs? Amergis Educational Staffing is partnering with elementary schools in Norfolk and Bristol County to hire dedicated Special Education Paraprofessionals for the 2025–2026 school year!

    Position Details

    Current Locations:

    + Attleboro, MA

    + Sharon, MA

     

    Start Date: ASAP

    Schedule:

    + Attleboro: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

    + Sharon: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM – 3:15 PM

     

    Duration: Full 2025–2026 School Year

     

    Pay Rate: Up to $25/hour

    Responsibilities

    + Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse needs

    + Implement behavior support plans and assist with academic activities

    + Collect and document data on student behavior and progress

    + Support students with ASD, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges

    + Assist with changing/toileting as needed

    Ideal Candidates

    + Experience in Special Education and Behavioral Support

    + Skilled in de-escalation, data collection, and behavior tracking

    + Comfortable working in sub-separate classrooms and with students exhibiting behaviors such as aggression, eloping, flopping, or self-injury

    + Calm, patient, and flexible in dynamic environments

    + Willing to support other students and classrooms as needed

    + Calm demeanor (especially emphasized for Sharon location)

    Requirements

    + Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities

    + Proven experience in behavioral support, including de-escalation techniques

    + Ability to provide academic support in classroom settings

    + Strong skills in data collection and behavior tracking

    + High school diploma required
