• Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner Needed…

    Amergis (Low Moor, VA)


    The Nurse Practitioner (need 2 NPs) provides health care services to patients within scope of license, performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests, assessments and screenings, prescribes medications, and instructs patients and family members on medical conditions and treatment. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner may have an area of specialty practice.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in Virginia

    + Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally accredited nursing organization (e.g. American Academy of Nurse Practitioners – AANP, American Nurses Credentialing Center – ANCC) is preferred

    + Virginia DEA required

    + ACLS required

    + CME and case logs past 2 years will be required upon start of credentialing

    + Must have minimum 2 years of NP experience in Emergency Medicine

    + Maintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
