The Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority (JPHSA) Executive Administrative department oversees a variety of clinical and support programs that cross two or more service area divisions as well as involves parish wide programming. The incumbent will implement an Assertive Community Treatment program, and manage all operations of the program inclusive of staffing, budget, fidelity management, outcomes reporting etc. Incumbent will also monitor key contracts, inclusive of programmatic operations and budget management. Incumbent reports to the Mental Health Regional Director.
Minimum Qualifications
A master’s degree in a social science, health or human services, nursing, or health administration field plus four years of experience providing behavioral health treatment; OR
A doctorate in a social science, health or human services, nursing, or health administration field, or a medical degree plus three years of experience providing behavioral health treatment.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
As a Program Director (ACT Lead), you will,
+ Manages and monitors the operations of the ACT team and supervises all staff in the program per the JPHSA Staff Development and Supervision Guidelines.
+ Knowledgeable of and follow’s the Louisiana Medicaid Manual’s ACT model requirements and criteria.
+ Responsible for initial intakes for each referral, to determine appropriateness for the program.
+ Ensures:
+ A fully staffed team at all times
+ Each team has a full caseload at all times
+ Model fidelity at all times, with detailed plans to address how to maintain fidelity and how to increase if fidelity goes below acceptable standards
+ Conducts daily staffing, documents staffing and follows up on any individual issues timely
+ Completes prior authorizations timely and accurately
+ Documents in the agency’s electronic health system within 1 business day
+ Collects all consents for treatment and releases of information
+ Monitors insurance billing toensureclaims are billed properly
+ Manages the process of initial licensure and maintaining yearly Health Standards license and managing all components that go into licensure throughout the year
+ Hires staff, inclusive of position descriptions, and training of new staff/on-going training for existing staff.
+ Audits monthly for completion of documentation and appropriateness of interventions. Addresses with plans of correction as needed.

Career Progression: This position does not participates in a Career Progression Group.
Work Schedule: Flexible work hours that may be outside of the traditional 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday, dependent on job duties.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
