    DRB Systems (“DRB”), an operating company of Vontier, is the leading provider of technology-enabled devices and software solutions to the North American car wash industry. The QA Engineer Intern is responsible for running multiple projects supporting DRB product line.

    JOB PURPOSE:

    Do you desire a hands-on experience in quality assurance engineering where you play a critical role in research on hardware under test? Do you enjoy collaborating with other parts of the business to enhance virtualization for components and resiliency testing? If this sounds like you, then join us as an Quality (QA) Engineering Intern Intern at DRB. This position reports to a QA leader and is in Green, OH.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Develop new skills and build professional relationships with friendly, experienced co-workers.

    + Receive guidance from supervisors, mentors, and subject matter experts that will guide you in succeeding in your role and discovering your ideal career.

    + Collaborate and assist team with structured engineering research on current hardware under test

    + Work with cross functional teams for virtualization of applicable components

    + Develop test scripts and growing resiliency testing suite, where applicable

    + Foster analytical skills to drive impact on overall business objectives.

    + Develop, manage, and execute specific projects with defined deliverables.

    + Deliver an end-of-project presentation to the DRB senior leadership team.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    + A rising Junior – Senior level student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, electrical engineering or related field.

    + Strong data and system analysis skills

    + Strong communication skills.

    + Ability to interact with cross-functional teams.

    + Self-motivated and results-oriented.

    + Available to work 3 days in Green, OH. (2 days are remote)

    + Hybrid role is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

    + Knowledge or experience with Azure DevOps, Jira or other software development platforms is a plus
