    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring for a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join a construction consulting company in California. This EE will be a part of the EAS team working alongside another Sr. Electrical Engineer reporting up to the Mechanical Engineer. They are looking for someone with extensive experience within power supply and holds an active PE license in California. A perfect engineer will be someone that can do both business development and act as a PM but is also willing to execute the work end design.

     

    A few examples of projects you will be responsible for will be redesign a EE system or power system, Arch flash studies, facility condition assessment, FCA's. Travel will be required for this role to be in customer meetings across California. Expertise using Revit is required.

    Skills and Requirements

    Requirements

    • 7-10+ years of electrical engineering experience (power supply, NOT energy).

    • California PE license in Electrical Engineering.

    • Proficiency in Revit and electrical design software.

    • Ability to operate in a doer/seller environment (RFP tracking, networking, client meetings).

     

    Strong communication skills; ability to lead and mentor team members. Preferred Qualifications

     

    • Experience with vertical building projects for public sector clients.

    • Experience with data centers, commercial projects, and public sector work.

     

    Business development and project management experience.
