Job Summary
Leads the Records Management program, ensuring our records are managed efficiently, compliantly, and securely, supporting regulatory compliance and reducing information risk.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive records management program policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with global regulations and business requirements.
+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices to enhance our records management program's efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Proactively monitor industry trends, new product introductions, partnerships, and reengineering projects to ensure ongoing program compliance.
+ Oversee and implement the records destruction process, ensuring adherence to established policies.
+ Facilitate and support the maintenance of the enterprise Records Retention Schedule.
+ Provide expert records analysis and project management support for various initiatives.
+ Partner with IT to define and integrate lifecycle management requirements into the design of new and existing information systems
+ Supervise and coach a team of 1-2 Records Analysts, providing guidance and support.
Qualifications
Education Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree
Education Preferred:
+ Master’s degree
Experience Required:
+ Five (5) years of equivalent work experience in a records Management position, or Records management certification (CRA, CRM)
Experience Preferred:
+ Ten (10) years of equivalent work experience in a records Management position, and Records management certification (CRA, CRM)
Technical Skills and Abilities
+ Strong understanding of records management principles and best practices.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage projects and drive improvements.
+ Proficiency with relevant records management software and tools.

No more than 5% travel.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office environment.
Decision Making Authority
Decisions to be made independently without direction or supervision:
Archival and destruction review of records per the records retention schedule.
Decisions made with review/approval of other individuals/leadership:
Creation / updates to standards and guidelines. Milestone delivery dates for projects.
