The Compliance Specialist directly contribute to the overall effective and successful implementation of the Compliance Program by serving as a compliance resource to the Corporate Compliance/Privacy Officer, leadership and employees. This position will be responsible for leading assigned compliance initiatives (e.g. compliance projects, investigations and audits), and maintaining the organization's compliance dashboard and reports.

The Specialist is a competent professional that fulfills their role with little to no supervision.

Education, Work Experience and Licensure:

o Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field required; 5 years’ experience in a healthcare setting; coding experience is a plus

o Certified Healthcare Compliance Certification or equivalent required within 12 months of hire.

o Must have strong analytical skills

o Demonstrates excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills

o Minimum of two years involvement in policy and procedure writing/ development required;

o Minimum of two years oversight of vendor compliance (e.g., management of documentation and screening for sanctions and/or exclusions); or

o Other experience as deemed appropriate by the Corporate Compliance Officer
