As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible throughout the location, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, and you will be engaging with visitors and staff to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious behavior within the location.

+ Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with information and directions as needed.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement when appropriate for incident resolution.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities, incidents, and observations during shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ A current Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
