What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service to all visitors, students, faculty, and staff at the front desk, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and/or visitor credentials, and assisting with signing in and out processes.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify the appropriate personnel as needed.

+ Assist with emergency response activities at the location according to established protocols.

+ Maintain accurate records and logs of visitor activity, incidents, and/or other security-related events.

+ Answer questions and provide general information about the location to visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

+ Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk.

+ Communicate regularly with Allied Universal management and location representatives to report concerns, incidents, or requests for assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
