    As a **Security Officer - Bank Unarmed Patrol** in **Durham, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and training.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and surrounding areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.

    + Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

    + Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, visitors, and staff while performing patrol duties.

    + Complete required reports and documentation as directed by Allied Universal and/or site management.

    + Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
