What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the financial institution in a calm, problem-solving manner while following Allied Universal protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect assets within the facility.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with client representatives, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.

+ Complete detailed reports and documentation related to patrol observations, incidents, and/or other security-related activities as required.

+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies or incidents specific to financial institution environments.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Being at least 21 years of age is preferred.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Pepper spray certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
