• Staff Accountant

    Robert Half Accountemps (Miami, FL)


    Description

    We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within the finance team.

    Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

    + Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and general ledger accounts

    + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

    + Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

    + Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

    + Assist with audits, budget preparation, and reporting as needed

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

    + 2–4 years of accounting experience (public or corporate)

    + Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems

    + Strong Excel and analytical skills

    + Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

    + Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
