    Robert Half Accountemps (Miami, FL)


    Description

    We are seeking an Entry-Level Accounts Payable Clerk to assist with daily accounting operations in a government office. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and eager to learn.

    Responsibilities:

    + Review and enter invoices into the accounting system

    + Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for accuracy

    + Assist with check runs and vendor payments

    + Maintain organized A/P files and documentation

    + Support month-end and year-end close processes

    + Provide general clerical support to the finance department

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s in Accounting a plus)

    + 1+ year of accounts payable or administrative experience

    + Basic understanding of accounting principles

    + Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data entry

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    + Excellent communication and teamwork skills
