Job Title: Injection Molding Process Technician
Job Description
As an Injection Molding Process Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, operating, and troubleshooting plastic injection-molding machines. You will ensure that all processes adhere to quality standards and production goals by verifying the proper setup of molds, auxiliary equipment, materials, and machines. You will also play a key role in troubleshooting and maintaining the quality of parts for shipment, while performing preventative maintenance and documenting process changes.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and start up molding machines, ensuring products meet quality standards.
+ Troubleshoot and monitor the quality of parts being prepared for shipment.
+ Determine processing parameters of various tools and address problems accordingly.
+ Verify setup of molds, auxiliary equipment, materials, and machines per SOP and VOP instructions.
+ Operate forklifts, hoists, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
+ Perform preventative maintenance tasks and document process changes.
+ Demonstrate excellent communication skills and dedication to quality.
+ Operate machines and package finished products as needed.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
