Health & Welfare Benefits Analyst
The Health & Welfare Benefits Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration, analysis, and compliance of the company’s health and welfare benefit programs. This role provides critical insights through data analysis, ensures operational accuracy, and contributes to the continuous improvement of benefit offerings serving thousands of employees.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the day-to-day administration of medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental and wellness programs
• Support annual open enrollment, plan renewals, and employee communications
• Analyze benefits data and prepare reports and dashboards for leadership and finance teams
• Monitor vendor performance and service metrics
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, and other federal/state regulations
• Assist with audits, filings, and documentation updates (e.g., SPDs, plan amendments)
• Maintain internal procedures and process documentation
• Identify opportunities to streamline benefits processes and improve employee experience
• Respond to employee inquiries and resolve benefit-related issues with accuracy and empathy
• Partner with payroll, HRIS, and vendors to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency
• Support special projects and initiatives related to H&W benefits
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in employee benefits or HR analytics
• Strong understanding of H&W benefit plans and related regulations
• Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems; experience with benefits platforms preferred
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

- EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- EXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience
