As a Data Engineering Manager focused on Analytics Engagements here at Advanced Materials, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and support of analytics solutions across all business functions while ensuring high-quality data management practices.
You will report to our Director of Gen AI, Data & Analytics Leader who oversees our enterprise data strategy, delivery and platform operations.
In this role, you will have significant impact driving business value through analytics by aligning technical capabilities with business needs. You will be instrumental in ensuring data quality, managing analytics project delivery & prioritization, and fostering strong relationships with business stakeholders
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage a team of data engineers to develop and implement data solutions
+ Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
+ Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes
+ Ensure the performance, availability, and security of data platforms
+ Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry best practices in data engineering
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field.
+ Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Data and Analytics with demonstrated business impact across multiple functional domains.
+ Intermediate-level proficiency in languages such as SQL, Python and Spark with advanced knowledge of modern data engineering tools and practices.
+ Strong business process and domain knowledge across multiple functions with demonstrated ability to turn business requirements into analytics solutions.
+ Prior experience with enterprise-scale platforms:
+ Snowflake or similar Data Warehouses
+ Databricks or similar AI/ML Platforms
+ Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, HVR, Fivetran or similar Data Ingestion and Transformation Tools
WE VALUE
+ Experience and domain knowledge of enterprise systems of record such as SAP, Salesforce CRM, eCommerce Systems, and associated E2E processes etc.
+ Strong background in enterprise analytics with measurable business outcomes for domains such as Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Experience and others.
+ Proficient in converting complex business insights into relevant data products, while maintaining effective relationships with business partners.
+ Experience implementing quality assurance and user acceptance testing processes for analytics deliverables
+ Strong experience in requirements gathering, project prioritization, and managing competing business demands
+ Exceptional presentation and communication skills with ability to influence at all levels of the organization
+ Demonstrated success in managing initiatives across organizational boundaries and building consensus.
+ Experience managing vendor relationships and service transitions.
+ Familiarity with IT Operations, ITIL practices and other service management frameworks.
+ Ownership and Pride in your work and willingness to work in a diverse, cross-functional environment.
COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $180,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
