    As an Area Product Owner in the Chase Zelle team, you drive the vision, strategy, and execution of a platform that empowers consumers and small businesses to send and receive money instantly. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, ensure operational excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.     Job Responsibilities:

    + Define and communicate a bold, data-driven product vision and roadmap

    + Lead Agile teams through discovery, design, build, test, and launch phases

    + Embed strong fraud, risk, and operational controls from the start

    + Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, and more

    + Facilitate decision-making forums to keep teams aligned and moving forward

    + Co-create launch strategies and campaigns to drive adoption and engagement

    + Build and nurture relationships with external partners to expand capabilities

    + Represent us in industry groups, shaping the future of peer-to-peer payments

    + Monitor key operational metrics and service levels for reliability and performance

    + Lead audit preparation and ensure documentation meets high standards

    + Mentor and develop product managers, fostering a culture of ownership and growth

    Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

    • 10+ years in product management, including 5+ years in real-time or P2P payments for both consumers and small businesses

    • Proven track record of leading large-scale, highly regulated product launches

    • Deep expertise in fraud, risk, and claims-handling frameworks, with a proactive mindset for mitigation

    • Strong experience partnering with Marketing on go-to-market strategies and campaigns

    • Success managing external partnerships, consortium representation

    • Exceptional executive presence

    • Demonstrated leadership in hiring, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

    • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

    • Experience in large, matrixed organizations with complex governance structures

    • Advanced analytical skills-fluent in leveraging data to prioritize and prove impact

    • Deep familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern product discovery techniques
