As an Event Strategy Lead Senior Associate within Business Banking, you will develop the strategy and lead execution of high-impact events that strengthen our relationships with business clients and prospects. You will collaborate with partners across marketing, firmwide centers of excellence and the business banking field to deliver best-in-class experiences, lead brand awareness, and support our growth objectives. You will be empowered to innovate, influence, and integrate events into broader marketing initiatives, all while fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
Job responsibilities
+ Develop and execute strategy for our annual Experience series, which will travel to five locations across the US in 2026.
+ Create new approaches to engage unmanaged client segments through onsite activations and event programming.
+ Mange all registration, attendee management, and legal and regulatory approvals for each of your events, including building registration sites through Stova, our event management platform.
+ Manage events with special focus on timelines and milestones to ensure events stay on track, and our field teams have enough time to generate registrations.
+ Lead relationship with the field for each host market, which will include regularly meeting with the city's Market and Area managers.
+ Lead planning and delivery of special or ad hoc projects which can include activations, sponsorships, local market engagement, etc.
+ Integrate event initiatives with other marketing workstreams, including paid media, branch activations, and Small Business Week.
+ Oversee partner workstreams, including agency partners, internal marketing team, talent and legal and compliance to ensure seamless program delivery.
+ Monitor compliance with policies and procedures, including regulatory and health guidelines.
+ Track, measure and analyze key performance indicators to measure event success and provide executive updates.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
+ 5+ years of experience in event strategy and / or execution, project management, or experiential marketing.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
+ Strong partner management skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
+ Demonstrated independence, energy, integrity, and respect for diverse perspectives.
+ Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, timelines, and realistic deadlines.
+ Effective under pressure and adaptable in matrixed environments with minimal supervision.
+ Collaborative approach to managing feedback and integrating workstreams across functions.
+ Process and controls-oriented leader with a strong system of internal governance and risk mitigation.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver quantifiable business results and actionable recommendations.
+ Ability to travel in the US for approximately 50-75 days per year.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
+ Degree in communications, hospitality, marketing, business, or a relevant field; experience in the financial services industry.
+ Experience managing agency relationships and external partners; familiarity with event technology platforms and data analytics tools.
+ Creative mindset with a track record of innovative event solutions; experience developing executive-level presentations and reports.
+ Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to event management.
