    **Boeing Commercial Airplanes** (BCA) is looking for a dedicated and highly motivated **Engineering Integration Manager** to join our team in **Seal Beach, CA** . In this role, you will assist Boeing in delivering 24/7 support to our 14,000 active airplanes. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Systems, Maintenance Engineering, Structures, IT Teams and Data Scientists, to support all Boeing models working in the integration organization.

     

    The Engineering Integration Organization is comprised of engineers, data scientists, quality specialists, lean practitioners, product owners and analysts that strive towards making life easier for all team members within Customer Support and our Aviation Industry Partners. We provide the tools, applications and capabilities that are used within Customer Support and the Industry; Technology solutions for problem statements, gaps and opportunities. Our mission is to seamlessly ingest, process, and store reliability data from airlines and suppliers. A collective of Lean Specialists, Product Owners, Quality Engineers, Technical Project Managers, who provide tools, processes, innovation, and infrastructure solutions. By leveraging advanced analytics and software tools, we deliver capabilities and tools for actionable insights to empower data-driven decision-making and ensure operational excellence for our customers.

    Role summary:

    + Lead the customer support technology integration, reliability analytics and data management team.

    + Partner closely with airline customers, cross-functional Boeing teams, and IT to deliver scalable, compliant, and high‑value tools and data solutions.

    Primary responsibilities:

    + Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand the challenges related to performing safety analysis activities consistent with applicable industry standards (e.g. ARP4754, ARP4761)

    + Direct teams across reliability analytics, data management, or digital systems; set goals and execution plans.

    + Product Ownership and Product Management of Customer Support Tools

    + Own in‑service data program; enable/delivery reliability/performance insights.

    + Oversee architecture and product ownership of cloud/on‑prem Customer Support applications; design/deliver APIs and services aligned with enterprise standards.

    + Manage Customer Support tools and platforms, and export compliance.

    + Act as delivery lead: gather requirements, prioritize roadmaps, communicate status/risks, and mitigate issues.

    + Plan and manage people, budget, vendors, global teams; drive delivery and insights

    + Engage with Fleet Operations and other stakeholder to boost reliability

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

    + Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

    + Customer engagement: direct experience with airline customers; translate needs into requirements; clear written/oral communication.

    + Cross-functional collaboration: lead and influence cross-functional engineering/business teams; build alignment across stakeholders.

    + IT partnership: work with Enterprise Architecture/IT on scalable solutions; familiarity with product ownership, system architecture, cloud/on‑prem, and Agile.

    + 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams.

    + 5+ years of experience in aviation.

    + 5+ years of experience as lead engineer/manager (aerospace or similar).

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

    + Experience executing a Software Safety program.

    + Aviation and in‑service data, reliability/performance analytics, large‑data/statistics, or data science familiarity.

    + Knowledge of data orchestration, governance/compliance, modern data architecture (APIs, cloud), enterprise patterns/standards, or Salesforce capability administration.

    + Experience with Risk management, executive communication, vendor management, or process creation in ambiguous environments.

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

     

    **Summary Pay Range** : $151,300 – $204,700
