Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician skilled in wiring large complex electrical panels according to schematics. You will work with 480V 3-phase wiring and drive motors, and possess comprehensive knowledge of 24VDC, 120V/240V wiring systems. Familiarity with Ladder Logic and Siemens PLCs is essential. Your role will involve installing electrical panels in cabinets, cross wiring, and mounting sensors, photo eyes, and proximity switches. You will also handle the installation and calibration of linear transducers and ensure neat and consistent wiring techniques. Completing electrical checklists, assembling and installing sub-assemblies, and traveling to customer locations for machinery installation and troubleshooting are key parts of this role.
Responsibilities
+ Wire large complex electrical panels according to schematics.
+ Work fluently with 480V 3-phase wiring and drive motors.
+ Apply knowledge of 24VDC, 120V/240V wiring systems.
+ Familiarize with Ladder Logic and Siemens PLCs.
+ Install electrical panels in cabinets and mount to machinery.
+ Cross wire electrical panels and cabinets.
+ Mount and wire sensors, photo eyes, and proximity switches.
+ Install and calibrate linear transducers.
+ Maintain neat and consistent wiring techniques.
+ Complete electrical checklist of operations.
+ Assemble and install sub-assemblies for large complex machinery.
+ Teardown and load machines in container trucks.
+ Travel to customer locations to install and start up blow molding machinery.
+ Reference prints to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of electrical/controls experience with troubleshooting 480V/3-Phase.
+ Strong experience with industrial equipment/machinery.
+ 5+ years of Blueprint Reading experience.
+ Willingness to travel 50% of the time to customer sites regionally and across the nation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Ladder Logic and Siemens PLCs.
+ Proficiency in mounting and wiring sensors, photo eyes, and proximity switches.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lansing, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $105498.00/yr.
