Business Analyst
Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Three (3) years of full-time experience in a business analysis, financial analysis, project management, or a similar role. Demonstrated experience with requirements analysis/management tools (i.e. Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Jira). Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace. Proficiency with business systems such as Financials, Human Resources, and Planning.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Five (5) or more years of full-time experience working in a business analysis, project management or a similar role. Experience in a customer facing role within a financial, HR or similar department. Experience in Higher Education. Experience with business requirements in an ERP system (Oracle, etc.).
Brief Description of Duties:
The incumbent will aid in the Oracle ERP implementation and ongoing support for the application(s). The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting enterprise systems and implementing data-driven solutions. This role involves gaining an understanding of system configurations, business analysis, and project management. The incumbent must have good communication skills, the ability to understand and interpret business needs, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ **Documentation & Communications:**
+ Assist with the development and maintenance of business process guides (BPGs).
+ Collaborate with MarCom, Change Management, and other groups to ensure ongoing communication with the campus community regarding functionality, enhancements, and updates.
+ Assist with the maintenance of Oracle configuration workbooks for the specified product/module.
+ Support the continuous development and maintenance of the WolfieONE user documentation, including website content, quick reference guides, QA documentation, business processes, and policies/procedures.
+ **Requirements Gathering and Business Analysis:**
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze both functional and non-functional requirements.
+ Maintain use cases, process flows, and documentation to clearly communicate business requirements.
+ Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that align with business needs and objectives.
+ Once solutions are designed, analyze and document the configurations of the modules/systems.
+ Facilitate testing and validation processes to ensure system changes meet requirements and are thoroughly tested before implementation.
+ Assist in continuous implementation and improvement efforts.
+ **Systems Support, Quarterly Updates:**
+ Review Oracle release notes to assess their impact on the current system and configurations.
+ Make recommendations for adopting new functionality and provide an impact summary to senior business analysts and senior management.
+ Contribute to both short-term and long-term solutions for functionality, including troubleshooting, conducting in-depth sessions with SMEs, and coordinate patches and workarounds.
+ Support in the creation of detailed project plans for individual releases or enhancements, covering deployment, testing, meetings, communications ,and documentation requirements (training materials, config workbooks, stakeholder approvals).
+ Address helpdesk tickets, service requests (SRs), enhancement requests, and other system support or maintenance workflows.
+ Provide direct user support to functional owners, SMEs, and end users. Assist in updating training materials, supporting training sessions, informing communications, and sustainment/maintenance documentation.
+ **Project Planning and Analysis:**
+ Support project plans, timelines, and deliverables for the specific workstream.
+ Collaborate with sustainment team members to review, prioritize, and schedule enhancement requests from various users.
+ Assist with the creation, management, and validation of reporting requirements, ensuring alignment with the data governance strategy is followed.
+ Test enhancements, system improvements, and defect/bug patches to ensure no loss of functionality.
+ Assist in coordinating resources and project progress, ensuring stakeholder expectations are met.
+ **Professional Development:**
+ Stay up to date on Oracle functionality and product roadmaps through professional development opportunities, including Oracle training and certifications, professional conferences, and higher education forums/user groups.
+ **Additional Duties & Responsibilities as Assigned:**
+ Other duties as assigned.

This role involves a critical focus on configurations, business analysis, and project management. This position will play a key role in the Oracle ERP implementation and ongoing support of enterprise systems, and in implementing data-driven solutions. The incumbent must have excellent communication skills, proven ability to understand and interpret business needs, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
