    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will apply advanced engineering principles to deliver high-quality geotechnical solutions for complex projects. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical leadership while supporting our employee-owned culture.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop geotechnical engineering designs, sketches, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

    • Plan and oversee geotechnical subsurface characterization programs for routine and complex projects.

    • Perform and review slope stability, settlement, and seepage analyses using industry-standard software.

    • Lead geotechnical engineering studies for large-scale and technically challenging projects.

    • Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed.

    • Serve as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects (project management is not the primary focus).

    • Supervise and mentor a small team of professionals and technicians.

    • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in civil or Geotechnical Engineering.

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license in TN, KY, or AR.

    • 10–15 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
