Description
What You’ll Do:
+ As a key leader in our Compliance team, you will:
+ Supervise and guide the FERC Compliance team on strategic initiatives and daily operations.
+ Partner with executives and subject matter experts to align compliance with corporate strategy.
+ Lead audit readiness, investigations, and compliance assessments (FERC, SOC-1,NAESB).
+ Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes, controls, and risk mitigation.
+ Coordinate with regulators on enforcement actions, mitigation, and policy changes.
+ Champion the development of a monitoring and testing program for tariff compliance.
What You’ll Bring:
+ Energy industry experience and knowledge of FERC, NERC, and SOC-1 standards (preferred).
+ SCCE certification (preferred).
+ Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
+ A questioning attitude and a drive to enhance MISO’s compliance posture.

Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $145,000-170,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.
Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. At MISO we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, vacation, sick and safe time, available on your first day of employment.

Education
Required
+ Bachelors or better in Business Administration
+ Bachelors or better in Engineering
Preferred
+ Masters or better
Experience
Required
+ 7 years: experience in Regulatory Compliance, Audit, Law, or IT Risk Management.
