**Location:** 5500 Highway 80 West, Jackson, MS 39209

**Serving:** Jackson School District

At **First Student** , we are committed to safety, reliability, and exceptional service. We are seeking a **Location Manager** to lead daily operations, manage staff, and ensure our students are transported safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee day-to-day operations of the location, including route scheduling, fleet and facility management, payroll, and financial performance.

+ Supervise, coach, and develop staff; manage recruitment, onboarding, performance, and retention.

+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and customer contract requirements.

+ Manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and implement strategies for operational efficiency.

+ Build and maintain positive relationships with school officials, parents, employees, and the community.

+ Maximize charter and commercial opportunities to grow local business.

Qualifications:

+ 4-year degree or equivalent experience.

+ Minimum 1 year in an assistant location manager or similar management role; 5 years of operations experience preferred.

+ Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with operational software and smart technology preferred.

+ Commitment to safety and ability to manage in a fast-paced environment.
