Overview
Position Summary
As a **Senior Business Development Manager** , you will be responsible for identifying and securing new commercial and industrial accounts within a defined territory. You’ll promote ABM’s Onsite Facility Services—including Cleaning, Environmental, Parking, and Engineering—by crafting tailored solutions that address client needs and drive value.
This role requires a strategic thinker and relationship builder who can collaborate with operations teams, lead the sales process, and maintain strong client partnerships while cross-selling ABM’s full suite of services.
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies to grow territory revenue.
+ Prospect new business through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
+ Create and present customized proposals using ABM-branded materials.
+ Conduct facility walk-throughs and assess current service programs.
+ Collaborate with operations teams to ensure strategic and financial alignment.
+ Negotiate contracts and manage client transitions to operations.
+ Build a strong network of industry contacts, community partners, and prospective clients.
+ Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and manage assigned budget.
+ Support marketing campaigns and monitor competitive landscape.
+ Provide training and share competitive intelligence as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
+ 5+ years of service sales experience, with a focus on cold calling and lead generation.
+ Experience in facility services, janitorial, commercial real estate, or related fields preferred.
+ Proven ability to write and present compelling proposals.
+ Experience pricing labor within proposals is a plus.

+ Highly organized and efficient with the ability to manage multiple prospects.
+ Collaborative team player with strong internal partnership skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (or similar CRM).
+ Results-oriented with a track record of high performance and sales recognition.
