As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you’ll partner with the Director of Nursing to guide and mentor your nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently met. What you’ll do as an ADON:
+ Support the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department.
+ Conduct regular rounds to monitor care quality, recognize achievements, and address areas for improvement.
+ Mentor and guide team members, fostering professional development and a positive team culture.
+ Manage key administrative and clinical functions to enhance department efficiency.
+ Participate in the on-call rotation as part of the leadership team.
What it takes to join our team:
+ A current, valid RN license in good standing (Iowa or ability to activate).
+ Current CPR certification.
+ Strong understanding of long-term care regulations preferred.
+ A passion for learning, teamwork, and leadership growth.
