Preserve Aerospace History and Support Test Operations as a Records Management Specialist
**PDS Tech Commercial** , in partnership with a **global leader in the aerospace industry** , is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Records Management Specialist** to support operations at a cutting-edge test facility. This is an exciting opportunity to help safeguard decades of invaluable aerospace data while ensuring safe and efficient site operations that enable innovation in flight technology.
About the Role
As a Records Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting and organizing the facility’s historical and operational records — ensuring that vital data is digitized, archived, and preserved for future generations. In addition, you’ll contribute directly to daily test operations by managing visitors, coordinating site logistics, and supporting the site leader in maintaining smooth, secure, and compliant operations.
Your work will have a lasting impact, improving safety, efficiency, and data integrity at one of the most innovative sites in the aerospace sector.
Key Responsibilities
+ Maintain and organize site files, including regulatory and test documentation.
+ Digitize and archive historical test and site records to ensure long-term data preservation.
+ Perform visitor management and oversee access control during test-day operations.
+ Assist with traffic flow, visitor orientation, and coordination of on-site personnel during tests.
+ Support site leader with administrative and operational duties, including ordering supplies and coordinating events.
+ Assist in creating and maintaining procedures, such as Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
+ Coordinate and track work management activities, including weekly status meetings.
+ Contribute to community relations and site communications as needed.
Required Qualifications
+ Proven administrative or records management experience, ideally within a technical, manufacturing, or research environment.
+ Strong organizational and data management skills with an eye for accuracy and detail.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage visitors and collaborate across teams.
+ High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in digitization, archiving, or information management systems.
+ Familiarity with regulatory or compliance documentation within a highly controlled environment.
+ Background in supporting test, research, or operations environments, particularly in aerospace or industrial settings.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing operational needs.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). **Pay Details:** $22.37 per hour
