    Required Skills:

    Security Engineer, Investigations Responsibilities:

    1. Proactively hunt for threats and undetected abuse by leveraging internal data, open-source intelligence, and third party private intelligence.

    2. Investigate complex cases to understand how abuse is occurring and implement enforcement strategies to mitigate and/or detect harm.

    3. Identify areas to automate investigative tooling and tradecraft.

    4. Analyze and interpret large datasets to advance investigations, quantify trends or support findings.

    5. Implement effective strategies to prevent and disrupt abuse at scale.

    6. Address sensitive content issues, including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material.

    7. This role may inadvertently have exposure to graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material, i.e.

    8. child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury, animal abuse, and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    9. Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, System engineering or related field

    10. Completion of a university-level course, research project, or internship involving the following:

    11. Financial cybercrime investigations, social media graph analysis, and cross-platform integrity threat analysis

    12. Detection of financially motivated threat actor networks and implementation of software-based countermeasures

    13. End-to-end technical investigation processes and reporting of outcomes to investigators, legal teams, policy teams, and executive stakeholders

    14. Cybersecurity, private sector investigations, intelligence operations, and government-based threat analysis

    15. Account-based threat assessment to understand source of harm

    16. Scripting using Python, PHP, or similar programming languages

    17. Large-scale data analysis using tools such as Maltego, Palantir, and Tableau

    18. Technical reporting and documentation of investigation findings

    19. Integration of investigative techniques with engineering methodologies

    20. Project coordination for enterprise-level initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders

    21. Cyber threat identification, including complex and advanced threats

    22. Open-source investigation techniques using internet research tools

    Public Compensation:

    $175,005/year to $200,200/year + bonus + equity + benefits
