Overview:
The Workday Integration Implementation Manager leads the design, development, and deployment of integrations between Workday and internal/external systems. This role ensures seamless data flow, system reliability, and continuous improvement across HR, Finance, and Payroll domains.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead end-to-end Workday integration projects, including discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
+ Manage integration architecture to align with evolving business needs.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance) and external vendors to ensure successful delivery.
+ Monitor and resolve integration issues, ensuring data accuracy and optimal performance.
+ Support Workday release cycles through regression testing and impact analysis.
+ Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and enforce integration standards.
+ Mentor and guide integration developers and analysts.
+ Drive continuous improvement in integration processes, tools, and methodologies.
Required Qualifications
+ Proven leadership in integration and technical workstreams across **3+ HCM or Financials implementations** , covering at least two phases.
+ **4–7 years** of Workday integration development experience.
+ Minimum **4 years** of consulting experience.
+ Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or financial discipline, or equivalent work experience.
+ **Must have** experience leading HCM/Financials integrations in **Higher Education or Healthcare** environments.
+ Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments
Preferred Skills & Experience
+ Current Workday certifications in **Integration** , **Studio** , and/or **Orchestrate** .
+ Expertise in Workday tools: **Studio** , **EIBs** , **Core Connectors** , **Document Transformation** , and **BIRT** . Experience with Orchestrate a plus
+ Strong proficiency in **XML** , **XSLT** , **JSON** , and **REST/SOAP** web services.
+ Familiarity with middleware platforms and programming languages such as **Java** or **.NET** .
+ **2+ years** of experience in integration architecture and development using Workday Studio and related technologies.
+ **4+ years** of experience in integration scope definition, problem-solving, and process improvement.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build trust-based relationships.
+ Experience in estimating, implementation planning, and project management.
+ Ability to mentor and train staff in both technical and project management dimensions.
+ Strong time-management and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and methodologies.
+ Experience with tools such as **Microsoft Copilot** , **Notepad++** , and **Oxygen XML Editor** .
+ The estimated base salary range for this job is $145,000 - $170,0000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $174,000 - $204,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future
