Pay Rate:

What you'll be doing as a Food Service Worker:

Food Preparation & Handling:

+ Assisting with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.

+ Following standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.

+ Assembling food items for service (e.g., salads, sandwiches, hot food line).

+ Ensuring proper temperatures for hot and cold food items.

+ Storing food properly to prevent spoilage and contamination.

Serving & Customer Service:

+ Serving food to customers from counters, steam tables, or other serving stations.

+ Greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

+ Addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

+ Replenishing food items, condiments, and serving supplies as needed.

+ Operating cash registers and handling transactions accurately (if applicable to the role).

Cleaning & Sanitation:

+ Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, serving areas, and dining areas.

+ Washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and equipment.

+ Operating dishwashing machinery and other cleaning equipment.

+ Sweeping, mopping, and ensuring floors are clean and safe.

+ Disposing of trash and waste according to established procedures.

+ Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (e.g., HACCP standards, Indiana Food Code).

Inventory & Stocking:

+ Receiving, stocking, and organizing food and supply deliveries.

+ Assisting with inventory control as needed.

General Duties:

+ Assisting with setting up and breaking down dining areas and serving lines.

+ Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.

+ Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Available Shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening), Weekends

Job Requirements:

+ Ability to read, comprehend, and follow oral and written instructions (including safety policies and procedures).

+ Basic math skills for cash handling and portioning (if applicable).

+ Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.

+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

+ Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

+ Must be able to maintain a clean personal appearance and hygiene.
