Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Manager will support strategies that contribute to organizational success in selecting, engaging, and developing employees, improving performance, and enhancing the experiences of the people we serve. The TA Manager will supervise and coordinate agency recruiting activities and strategies for all locations and departments, provide supervision to agency recruiters, and manage assigned caseload of specialty recruitment. This position is critical to bringing top talent to the agency and maintaining a pipeline of candidates to support program needs and employee retention.
Schedule:Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week with flexibility to attend events outside regular work hours as needed
Pay Range:$74,000 - $80,000 commensurate with education and experience
Responsibilities:
+ Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals.
+ Manage full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, recruitment outreach, applicant screening, interview process, employment offers, and onboarding.
+ Coordinate intern and volunteer recruitment and placement.
+ Supervise and mentor recruiting team, ensuring adherence to procedures and an efficient and timely hiring process.
+ Train hiring managers on various policies and procedures related to hire requisitions, interviewing, candidate selection, and utilization of Applicant Tracking System.
+ Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
+ May attend departmental meetings to familiarize staff with various policies and procedures.
+ Optimize recruitment tools and technology (e.g., ATS, job boards, social media platforms).
+ Track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
+ Adhere to hiring, transfer, and promotional guidelines as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
+ Calculate union and non-union salaries in accordance with compensations strategies; make recommendations for salary adjustments as warranted or requested.
+ Stay updated on industry trends, labor market conditions, and best practices in recruitment.
+ May assist with employee development efforts across the agency.
+ May prepare reports and analyze data as directed.
+ Represents Abilities First, Inc. in a positive and professional manner.
+ Performs appropriate job-related activities as required by the immediate supervisor or as circumstances warrant.
+ Ensures that all communication is handled appropriately, professionally, and confidentially.
+ Demonstrates proficiency in all goals and skillsets required, on which performance will be evaluated.
+ Ensures all training and certifications required are current, and seeks further support and training where needed.
+ Follows all agency policy and procedures and demonstrates continuous regard to personal safety and the safety of others.

Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources with five (5) years’ experience working in human resources; a combination of experience and education may be deemed acceptable by the Director.
+ High volume recruitment experience required.
+ Supervisory experience or significant experience in a senior or lead recruiting role required.
+ Experience working in a union environment preferred.
+ Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Requires excellent analytical, organizational and computer skills, with the ability to work with strict confidentiality.
+ PHR / SHRM-CP preferred.
+ Current, valid, NYS driver’s license deemed acceptable by agency insurance carrier; reliable transportation to visit agency locations and attend recruiting events is required.
