Description
Minimum qualifications:
• 3+ years of facilitation, training delivery, or related learning experience
• Up to 30% travel
• Skilled in leading learning sessions for professional or leadership audiences
• Experience mentoring or supervising facilitators or trainers
• Demonstrated ability to assess training needs and align delivery to business priorities
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and influence across teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
Preferred qualifications:
• 4+ years of related work experience
• Background in leadership development, learning and development, or adult learning theory
• Airline or aviation industry experience
• Experience coordinating large-scale learning programs or enterprise rollouts
• Familiarity with virtual learning platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom) and learning management systems

About the job:
The Assistant Manager – Learning Strategy serves as a strategic connector between learning strategy, facilitation delivery, and program operations. This role blends high-impact facilitation with leadership and coordination responsibilities that ensure smooth delivery across multiple programs and audiences. The Senior Facilitator leads by example in the classroom while also supporting and coaching other facilitators, managing intake requests, and serving as the key liaison between program owners, designers, and facilitators to deliver high-quality learning experiences that align with enterprise goals.
Core accountabilities / key responsibilities:
• Facilitate instructor-led and virtual sessions for leadership and enterprise learning programs across multiple audiences and levels
• Model best-in-class facilitation skills, learner engagement, and inclusive learning practices
• Coach and mentor other facilitators to strengthen consistency, delivery quality, and alignment with program outcomes
• Support continuous improvement through debriefs, learner feedback, and observation of the facilitation team
• Conduct intake and needs analysis for new learning requests, aligning business needs with available solutions
• Route requests appropriately (facilitator assignment, design team, or escalation to manager)
• Develop facilitators through ongoing coaching, observation, and performance feedback to ensure consistent, high-quality learning delivery
• Serve as liaison between program managers, facilitators, and design partners to ensure clear communication and readiness for delivery
• Brief facilitation teams on program context, updates, and key messages before delivery
• Maintain the intake pipeline and tracking systems to monitor workload and ensure timely response to requests
• Coordinate facilitator assignments and scheduling, ensuring the right expertise is matched to each session
• Partner with learning strategy and design teams to continuously enhance facilitator readiness, tools, and processes
The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $103,966.00.
