We are currently hiring a full-time Security Officer for a site in Rotterdam Junction, NY. This position offers a pay rate of $18.50 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1400–2200 (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM), totaling 40 hours per week.Reliable transportation is required, as the site is not on a public bus route.________________________________________Key Responsibilities:• Control access to the facility and verify identification for all visitors, contractors, and employees.• Monitor CCTV systems and security technology to ensure the safety of personnel and property.• Create and issue access badges; maintain accurate records of badge activity.• Provide professional customer service while remaining firm in enforcing site policies and procedures.• Write clear, detailed reports of daily activities and incidents.• Handle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.________________________________________Qualifications:• Reliable transportation (site not accessible by public transit).• Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain professional yet assertive when enforcing rules.• Strong written communication skills for report writing and documentation.• Comfortable using technology and security systems, including CCTV and access control software.• Ability to multitask effectively and stay organized under pressure.• Prior security experience preferred but not required.________________________________________If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining a secure and professional environment, we invite you to apply and join our dedicated team in Rotterdam Junction.
