    Assemble products / parts using hand tools or power tools while performing quality checks to ensure the final product meets specifications.

    Essential Functions

    Weigh and label packages. Inspect materials to ensure there is no damage.

     

    Produce daily schedule targets to meet productivity.

     

    Create labels for finished goods and production reporting. Use a variety of hand tools and power equipment .

     

    Stage material to the schedule to meet customer demand.

     

    Work in partnership with the Quality Department to verify materials meet industry standards.

     

    Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality standards and specifications are adhered to.

     

    Perform changeovers on the automated machine, including diameter and lengths.

     

    Maintain lot integrity through the assembly process.

     

    Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment while keeping the work area safe, clean and organized.

     

    Skills and Abilities

     

    Ability to read job tags and understand processing steps.

     

    Communicate effectively with others.

     

    Ability to operate a powered industrial truck.

     

    Be proficient with basic hand and power tools.

     

    Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

     

    Ability to stand for long periods of time.

     

    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

     

    Basic math and measurement skills.

    Education

    A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.

     

    Working Conditions

     

    Work is performed in a distribution center environment.

     

    Standing for long periods of time is required.

     

    Lift up to 50+ pounds on occasion.

     

    Must be willing and available to work overtime, as needed.
