What’s the job?
This opportunity will be located in our Malvern, PA headquarters for a Product Manager of Residential Roofing Products in our CertainTeed Roofing Products organization.- The Product Manager will be responsible for product line management to include product portfolio definition and development, product positioning, strategic pricing, and competitive and market analysis. This individual will need to have strong interpersonal skills and be a results-driven strategic thinker.-- This position will interface with the GTM team, marketing, sales, and R & D on a regular basis.
The Product Manager will oversee a high-visibility shingles portfolio that is of strategic importance to the residential roofing business. These product lines generate $2 billion in revenue and carry significant impact as well as business risk and opportunity.
+ Define and communicate the product vision in support of the Roofing business strategy, including maintaining a clear product roadmap aligned to business goals in the short- and long-term;
+ Manage the assigned product portfolio to maximize market share, sales, profitability and sustainability including product additions, deletions and changes
+ Own the achievement of product average net selling price and gross margin, recommending and implementing pricing objectives, strategies, and guardrails to extract maximum value on new and existing products
+ Lead new product introductions and launch planning
+ Develop and implement the strategy for assigned products; partner with GTM team to develop go-to-market strategies to win in targeted customer segments;
+ Responsible for market research, environment and competitive analysis related to their product portfolio in their region
+ Develop strategic pricing for profitable growth of product lines
+ Assist in development of product marketing plan to include brand management, product positioning, and promotion
+ Develop and maintain the portfolio of marketing tools that support the sales of our products: literature, samples, digital, others, working jointly with marketing communications and GTM teams
+ Participate and travel to trade shows, customer events, educational seminars and additional activities in support of the roofing business

_What do you bring?_
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or engineering. A Master's degree is preferred.
+ Position requires at least 8 years of marketing and or product mgmt. experience
+ Estimated travel 30%
