About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will be a key leader, responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a portfolio of Pharmacy (RX) and Administrative facilities across South Florida. This role is client-facing and requires a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge and operational expertise in facilities management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring service delivery excellence across multiple sites, managing all maintenance services, and driving cost-effective solutions.
This role is integral to the Facilities Management functional area, focusing on all aspects of asset operations and providing crucial support to Property Managers regarding repairs and investment plans. This position requires regular travel across South Florida, and candidates must reside locally within Florida.
What You’ll Do:
+ Travel to bi-monthly to each RX facility and quarterly to each of your administrative facilities to ensure client satisfactions and onsite coordination with your team. approximately every two weeks for clinic visits and quarterly for administrative sites.
+ Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple RX and administrative facilities across South Florida.
+ Manage small-scale projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion.
+ Full-cycle work order management, including initiation, tracking, and closure.
+ Manage infrastructure upkeep and coordinate with Facility Coordinators and Site Engineers.
+ Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements pertaining to services covered at specific sites in your portfolio.
+ Respond to emergency service tickets and ensure rapid resolution.
+ Schedule and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
+ Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
+ Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
+ Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
+ Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
+ Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
+ Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
+ Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
+ Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
+ Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You’ll Need:
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
+ Ability to understand lease service agreements.
+ Ability to understand and communicate common services issues pertaining to MEP, HVAC and other facility infrastructure service repairs.
+ Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
+ Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
+ Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
