    About the Opportunity:

    CBRE is seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Building and HVAC Technician to join our team in Naperville, IL. This exciting opportunity involves supporting a major telecommunications client, providing essential maintenance and repair services across multiple sites. You'll be part of a dynamic team, driving efficiency and ensuring the smooth operation of critical infrastructure.

    What You'll Do:

    As a Mobile Building and HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance and repair services for building systems and equipment, primarily supporting our telecommunications client. Your responsibilities will include:

     

    + **HVAC Maintenance and Repair:** Perform routine preventative maintenance, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, including but not limited to, troubleshooting, component replacement, and system optimization.

    + **Plumbing & Electrical Maintenance:** Handle basic plumbing tasks like clearing drains (snaking), repairing/replacing P-traps, and perform minor electrical repairs such as changing ballasts and other electrical components.

    + **Preventative Maintenance & Inspections:** Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.

    + **Work Order Management:** Efficiently manage and complete assigned work orders, estimating time and materials needed, and tracking progress.

    + **Energy Management:** Implement energy-saving measures to ensure all systems operate at peak efficiency.

    + **Code Compliance:** Ensure all work adheres to building codes and safety regulations.

    + **Client Communication:** Communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and supervisors to address inquiries and provide updates.

    + **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and repair reports.

    What You'll Bring:

    + **Education & Experience:** High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Combination of experience and education will be considered.

    + HVAC Expertise: Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.

    + **EPA Certification:** EPA Universal certification is required.

    + **Plumbing & Electrical Skills** : Basic plumbing and electrical experience, including the ability to clear drains, repair P-traps, and perform minor electrical tasks (e.g., changing ballasts).

    + **Physical Requirements:** Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads (50 lbs. or more).

    + **Technical Skills:** Ability to follow basic work routines and standards, and the ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    + **Communication & Organization:** Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and an inquisitive mindset.

    + **Mathematical Skills:** Basic math skills to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.

    + **Licensing** : Valid Driver’s License required.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Mobile HVAC Technician position is $58,240 annually [or $28.00 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Mobile HVAC Technician position is $74,880 annually [or $36.00 per hour]. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
