Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides supportive help to the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy as a pharmacy technician under the general supervision of a licensed pharmacist and within the scope of practice as a pharmacy technician established by the department of pharmacy and the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, and other duties as as assigned.

What you will do in this role:

+ Employee reflects HCA values and sensitivity to HCA ethics and compliance principles in his/her daily activities.

+ Adheres to policies on appropriate access.

+ Respects patient confidentiality.

+ Upholds code of conduct.

+ Consistently contributes to the quality and effective operation of the Department.

+ Works independently with minimal supervision. Organizes and prioritizes work assignments. Ensures pharmacy services are provided in a timely manner.

+ Attendance, punctuality, punches in and out appropriately

+ Attends mandatory staff meetings or keeps current on dept. communication and information. Reviews and signs pharmacy staff meeting minutes. (must have sign or attend meetings 100% of the time)

+ Meets dress code. Wears identification badge at all times.

+ Performance demonstrates efforts to improve patient satisfaction, lower cost, and improve quality. Familiar with non-formulary policy and therapeutic substitutions at CRMC.

What qualifications you will need:

+ Certificate

+ (PHARM-Intern) Pharmacist - Intern, or (PharmTech) Pharmacy Technician License
