This job is within the American Airlines Credit Union. The role is responsible for department analytics, policy and procedures, process improvement, system testing, quality review and projects at the Credit Union.
What you'll do
+ Create and maintain Deposit & Statements analytics and statistics
+ Maintain and update Deposit & Statements policies and procedures
+ Maintain, update and test the core system processes
+ Assist with projects related to process improvement and strategic initiatives
+ Assist with department budget: annual preparation and monthly variance reporting
+ Assist with annual projects: bonus dividends, tax reporting
+ Assist with department training
+ Act as a Lead and provide backup for Department Manager
+ Provide follow-up documentation or information requested
+ Assist with escalated member issues
+ Assist with rate and fee changes
+ Perform quality review of MSR share and IRA transactions
+ Crosstrain on all department functions
+ Create reports for internal and external use
+ Perform other duties, as assigned
+ The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ High school diploma or GED
+ General understanding of financial institution/deposit products and related member transactions
+ Intermediate or greater working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance
+ Previous banking or Credit Union experience
+ Working knowledge of IRA/Share Certificate products and processes
+ Experience and knowledge of systems: Episys, Synapsys
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
+ Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
+ Ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and effectively implement change when needed
+ Ability to perform in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team
+ Ability to interact professionally with all employees and members
+ Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff and work closely with multiple departments
+ Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
+ Ability to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detail
+ Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
+ Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
+ Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks
