Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is seeking a Shipping Associate to join their team. As a Shipping Associate, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting the warehouse and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Shipping Associate

**Location:** Woodridge, IL

Pay Rate: $17 per hour

**Shift:** Monday - Friday 12:30pm - 9:00pm schedule with OT as needed

What's the Job?

+ Routinely demonstrates and creates a helpful and positive work culture

+ Pick, pack, and ship products efficiently and accurately

+ Collect parcel shipments from various areas to be processed

+ Complete “incomplete orders” in the shipping area

+ Unload containers and palletize boxed products by hand in a team environment

What's Needed?

+ At least 1 year of experience in a similar shipping or distribution role

+ Minimum six months’ experience utilizing FedEx, UPS, or other shipping software

+ Ability to multitask and work extended hours with short notice, including weekends

+ Attention to detail and accuracy in processing shipments

+ Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds occasionally
