    Key job responsibilities

    • Work closely with senior engineers, UX designers, and product managers to develop AI-enhanced user experiences and conversational interfaces

    • Collaborate with other engineers to develop optimal architectural designs for LLM-powered frontend systems

    • Engage with customers and Amazon business partners to continuously improve product usability through intelligent UI solutions

    • Partner with other teams for cross-cutting features, especially in GenAI integration and RAG implementation

    A day in the life

As a Frontend Engineer on the team you will take ownership over the frontend design, documentation, development, engineering approach, delivery and support of systems built natively with AI capabilities. You'll architect and implement LLM-powered interfaces and agentic AI components while collaborating with our ML teams. In this role you will leverage internal GenAI tools and AI-assisted development workflows to build intelligent solutions. You'll work closely with leaders to identify opportunities for AI enhancement, work backwards from customers to implement conversational interfaces, and develop innovative solutions using prompt engineering and RAG architectures. Your work will relentlessly raise standards for AI-integrated frontend development and have a positive impact on hundreds of millions of customers through intelligent, responsive experiences.
