Job Title: Senior Project ManagerJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Construction Project Manager to join our talented team in the Vacaville, California area. In this role, you will provide leadership on assigned projects and work to achieve financial, safety, and client relationship objectives.
Responsibilities
+ Manage the delivery of individual projects, holding primary responsibility for achieving cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
+ Identify risks to the project and corporation, and work with Project Directors and the Director of Operations to mitigate risks.
+ Develop and maintain written preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans, obtaining review and approval from the Project Executive and/or Director of Operations, and communicate these to the project team.
+ Work closely with the Construction Manager and Site Superintendent to monitor performance against the target schedule and implement corrective actions against nonconformances.
+ Monitor and report project costs, including values committed, forecast to commit, allowances for growth, and actually expended.
+ Support Project Executives, Director of Operations, and General Manager in the preparation of project delivery proposals.
+ Work closely with the Construction Manager and Superintendents to ensure that field events, conditions, exceptions, and issues are fully reflected in cost reports.
+ Manage changes to prime contracts, including change control documentation and related financial documentation.
+ Coordinate with Accounting to invoice clients and manage Accounts Receivable to meet corporate goals.
+ Work with the financial group to manage project financial issues.
+ Monitor design content and coordinate design revisions for constructability and compliance with basis documents, schedule, and budget.
+ Prepare and manage subcontracts and purchase orders, including change control documentation and related financial documentation.
+ Support project/client development process with presentations and related marketing activities.
Essential Skills
+ Experience managing construction projects in life sciences environments (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device) and/or complex manufacturing facilities (e.g., GMP, pilot plants, laboratories, clean rooms).
+ Working knowledge of industry standards, construction codes, and regulatory requirements (e.g., cGMP, FDA, ISO).
+ Experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams on highly technical projects.
+ Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree.
Work Environment
This position will require up to 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project. You may be assigned to a client site for an extended period, and overnight travel or staying in the city of the Client’s location is possible, depending on the assignment. You will visit construction sites and must take site safety training and adhere to site safety rules. Reliable transportation is necessary, and you must have the ability to travel and commute on a daily or routine basis. The role requires working in both indoor and outdoor environments, which may include exposure to varying weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $159000.00 - $212000.00/yr.
