    Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in a specialty practice setting. This role involves rooming patients, documenting all vital information, scribing for a dermatologist, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and scheduling patient appointments.

    Responsibilities

    + Room patients and document all vital information accurately.

    + Scribe essential information for the dermatologist.

    + Ensure exam rooms are clean and adequately stocked with necessary supplies.

    + Schedule patient appointments efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in medical assisting and patient care.

    + Knowledge of medical terminology and scribing.

    + Experience with EMR systems such as NextGen and EMA.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Certified Medical Assistant certification.

    + DERM Tech certification.

    + 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred.

    Work Environment

    The work environment includes wearing solid color scrubs, with any color being acceptable. Employees generally take a one-hour break around lunchtime, which is usually determined by the clinic's flow. The position offers the opportunity to work within a specialty practice and gain experience with two different EMR systems. Work is conducted at a provider's location.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portsmouth, NH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
