    Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a reputable client to find a dedicated and experienced **Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)** for a full-time, **direct-hire opportunity** at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Queens, NY.     Position Overview

    The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will assist the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) in overseeing the nursing department to ensure the highest quality of care for residents. This role involves leadership, clinical oversight, and team collaboration to maintain excellence in patient outcomes and regulatory compliance.

     

    Pay Rate: $120,000 per year

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the DNS with daily management responsibilities and quality assurance initiatives.

    • Conduct weekly Wound/Skin Rounds and oversee infection control procedures.

    • Ensure effective communication between nursing staff and other departments.

    • Address and meet the medical and nursing needs of all residents.

    • Coordinate, plan, and direct all nursing service activities.

    • Maintain accurate and timely completion of resident medical records.

    • Participate in interviewing, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staff.

    • Oversee daily staffing processes to ensure adequate coverage.

    • Remain on 24-hour call rotation for urgent nursing concerns.

    • Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.

    Qualifications

    • Current RN license in the State of New York (required).

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a long-term care setting.

    • At least 2 years of management experience preferred.

    • 1 year of staff education experience preferred.

    • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

    • Proven ability to manage a team and uphold high clinical standards.

    • Must be flexible and reliable with the ability to handle on-call responsibilities.
