+ Experience with root cause analysis techniques such as Fishbone, Fault Tree, and DMAIC.

+ Proficiency in optical system performance metrology, SAP, ERP, NX Siemens, aerospace, and optical manufacturing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Optics/Optical Sciences.

+ Experience with statistical analysis software such as Minitab.

    Work Environment

In a normal day, 40% of the time will be spent on the production floor working with technician teams to execute special test teardown activities on defective material. Another 40% of the time will be spent on self-directed work off the production floor to develop test/teardown plans, document observations from forensic investigations, and develop standard rework plans.
