    We are seeking a Licensed Architect to join our growing architecture team in San Jose. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative design-build environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, buildable architecture. You will lead projects from schematic design through construction administration, ensuring compliance, functionality, and aesthetic excellence.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and oversee architectural design for residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects.

    + Prepare and review detailed construction documents using Revit and other BIM tools.

    + Ensure compliance with California Building Codes, zoning regulations, and ADA standards.

    + Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants, including structural, MEP, and civil engineers.

    + Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.

    + Provide technical guidance during construction administration, including addressing RFIs and conducting site visits.

    + Maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards within the Design-Build methodology.

    Essential Skills

    + Licensed Architect in California.

    + Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch from a NAAB-accredited program).

    + Minimum 5+ years of architectural experience, preferably in design-build environments.

    + Proficiency in Revit and strong knowledge of BIM workflows.

    + Solid understanding of California Building Codes and permitting processes.

    + Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with mixed-use, residential, or commercial projects is preferred.

    This is a Contract position based out of San Jose, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
