We are seeking a talented Designer with a strong background in architectural design to join our team. This role involves working on a variety of commercial and industrial construction projects from beginning to end.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble all phases of drawings, including Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Documents (CD) with minimal guidance.
+ Utilize AutoCAD and REVIT Architecture to create comprehensive design plans.
+ Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations in all design work.
+ Collaborate effectively with project managers to ensure project deadlines are met with speed and accuracy.
+ Be introduced to projects immediately and contribute to their development from day one.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT Architecture.
+ Strong understanding of commercial and industrial construction.
+ Experience in architectural design and drafting.
+ Ability to work long hours and maintain self-motivation.
+ Capability to take direction well and work harmoniously with team members.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with renovation projects is preferred.
+ Experience managing architectural workstation computers is a plus.
+ Recent graduates with significant intern experience in Revit are encouraged to apply.
Work Environment
This position is based in our office in uptown Charlotte, with no option for remote work. The environment offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, enhancing both personal and professional growth.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $40.00/hr.
